Application of xylanases in prebleaching of bamboo kraft pulp

摘要
The effectiveness of a dozen commercial xylanase enzymes has been evaluated for prebleaching bamboo kraft pulp. Different xylanases varied in the maximum obtainable effect. The enzymes Bleachzyme F and Irgazyme 40S can decrease the active Cl-2 requirement in the first state of bleaching by 20% or decrease the ClO2 in the last stage of brightening by 4 kg/metric ton pulp in the C(D)EHD sequence. Alternatively, at the same chemical charge, it is possible to increase the final brightness approaching 89% ISO. The use of enzymes has no adverse effect on the pulp viscosity and strength properties.
