Full scale injection test North/South Metroline Amsterdam

This paper outlines the injection techniques, geophysical surveys and special soil investigations techniques used in stage 2 of the "Full Scale Injection Test". Objective of this stage was determining critical parameters concerning the injectability of the Amsterdam soil. Outlined are amongst others: predictions, specialised soil investigation techniques, measured injection pressures and flow (grout-take), laboratory tests, physical properties of the injection body and usability of geophysical surveys to determine the dimensions of the injection-body. Graphs and tables of the test-results are presented and conclusions are drawn from the results available at the moment of submitting this paper (November '98).
