摘要
In order to meet the development of modern electromagnetic countermeasures system, An ultra-wideband high power amplifier covering 6 similar to 18GHz has been designed, which full band power is larger than 50W. The amplification chain is composed of two stage drive, power allocation, final amplification and power synthesis network and the power allocation / synthesis unit is implemented by Wilkinson circuits. In order to satisfy the requirement of wide input power covered 5 similar to+5dBm, the multistage equalization circuit has been used under the premise of high quality noise squelch. The measured results show that the output power of the full frequency band is more than 50W, the working efficiency is about 15%, and the second harmonic suppression is more than 12dBc. Compared with the same type vacuum tube system power amplifier, it has the obvious advantages of low DC power consumption, compact circuit structure and high reliability. The successful development of this power amplifier has laid an important foundation for the solid state upgrading of vacuum power amplifier
