摘要
A neutral-point potential balancing strategy for three-level active neutral point clamp (ANPC) converter based on discontinuous PWM is presented. In this paper, a novel discontinuous space-vector pulse width modulation (DSVPWM) is proposed. Compared with the traditional three-level space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM), this strategy can effectively reduce the switching loss of the converter. According to the neutral-point potential (NP), the duration of P state and N state in each cycle is dynamically adjusted. The strategy can flexibly control the NP balancing. The simulation and experimental results are provided to verify the effectiveness of the control strategy.
