摘要
During the last few years, technology has been developing rapidly affecting all aspects of everyday life. New concepts, like Mobile Learning (mLearning), have already been introduced in the educational process. In this paper, we focus on mLearning through smartphones. The main aim is to approach learning through smartphones with respect to the existing educational and legal frameworks. We focus on four key areas: Collaboration, Learning Method, Place and Technology. Our motivation is to find out if there is a way to integrate effectively the use of smartphones into the learning process and to enhance this process without causing problems to the educational procedure. Therefore, through questionnaires we solicited the opinions of students and teachers of the Greek educational system, and we examined the advantages and disadvantages of mLearning, which led us to the introduction of an initial mobile application that combines the above key areas characteristics.
