摘要
This paper introduces new approaches to traffic accident data utilization. Possible options of traffic accident information gathering are described together with their potential use in an early warning system about a high risk of a traffic accident. Furthermore, possibilities of visualization of traffic accident records on a map without using a Geographic Information System are discussed. The most crucial part of this paper is a design and description of a web application for visualization and analysis of information about traffic accidents, which uses its own map server.
