摘要
A novel current source inverter (CSI)-fed drive configuration connected to common dc bus is proposed for marine drive application, where CSI is connected to dc bus through a dc interface converter. The dc bus interface converter consists of Symmetric Gate Commutated Thyristor (SGCT) devices and provides regenarating braking function. Besides, model predictive control (MPC) scheme is introduced into the newly proposed configuration to realize better dynamic performance. The simulation on a medium-voltage drive system is conducted to verify the effectiveness of proposed configuration and MPC scheme during transient process and in steady states.
