For the first time, 5 species are indicated for the flora of Kazakhstan: P crebridens Juz., P X angarensis Popov, P penniphylla Sojak, P tergemina Sojak, P thuringiaca Bernh. cx Link. Five species are new to the flora of "Altvn-Emer State National Natural Park: P asiatica (Th. Wolf) Juz., P evestita Th. Wolf, P hololeuca Boiss. ex Lehm., P nivea L. nom. cons.. P thuringiaca Bernh. ex Link and P turkestanica Sojak. Six new species were found in the Tarbagatai ridge, and two species in the Dzungarian Alatau. For P crebridens Juz. and P chionea SotA, we specified the western and southern borders of the distribution area. For each species we state herbarium label quotation and comments about its relationship and distribution area.
