Study on the Sustainable Development Strategies of Heilongjiang Agricultural Tourism

Heilongjiang Province is located in the northeast China. It is the center of Northeast Asia and has the largest forest area as well as the largest-sized and highest-mechanized state farm groups in China. It is one of the three largest black soil zones in the world as well. In this paper, the authors study on how to utilize these naturally-endowed advantages to develop local agricultural tourism. A SWOT analysis on the agricultural tourism of Heilongjiang is made, and then the authors provide several suggestions on sustainable development strategies of Heilongjiang agricultural tourism based on the provincial advantages in terms of resources, customer market, location and technical personnel.
