摘要
Thermal degradation of bamboo waste is studied using thermogravimetric analyzer at four different heating rates (10, 15, 20 and 30 degrees C/min) in the temperatures range from 30 to 900 degrees C. Two model-free (isoconversional) methods, Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose (KAS) and Flynn-Wall-Ozawa (FWO) are used to determine the activation energy. The activation energies determined from the isoconversional methods are found to be increased with increasing the pyrolysis conversion. The average value of activation energies are 183.113 kJ/mol and 181.973 kJ/mol for KAS and FWO method respectively for the conversion range of 0.1 - 0.9. The frequency factor is determined using Kissinger method and found to be in the range of 10(11) - 10(16) s(-1). The higher heating value of bamboo waste is found to be 18.83 MJ/kg, considered as potential feedstock for the production of bio-energy.
