摘要
Micro-structure surface is widely used in optics and industry because of their excellent optical properties, wear resistance, adhesion and lubricity. At present, there are many methods for micro-structure surface processing, among which the ultra-precision machining is commonly used processing method. In the process of micro-structure surface manufacturing, the dynamic change of cutting depth can cause instability in the machining process, resulting in the generation of chatter, which is one of the most important factors affecting the quality of machining in the declination of surface quality and generation of noise and tool wearing. The study of regenerative chatter has become a focus in the current manufacturing industry. Ultra-precision diamond cutting by using Fast Tool Servo (FTS) structure is a widely used microstructure surface processing method. In this paper, the chatter of turning process using FTS is modeled, and the occurrence of chatter is simulated and analyzed. Then BP neural network is applied for the chatter control of the proposed FTS system, the corresponding vibration curves are obtained.
