摘要
Regional areas are often associated with low levels of health service delivery, large geographic area and limited access to specialised services and support. Attempting to deliver an alcohol and drug service under such circumstances requires a great deal of ingenuity. The paper will review current alcohol and drug service delivery models, and role delineation and assess their applicability to regional areas. It is then proposed to put forward a decision making model that allows the prioritization of service delivery to deliver an effective and efficient alcohol drug service.
