摘要
The equations of motion of the turbocharger supported on fluid film bearings have been developed, considering the rotor shaft rigid and flexible, separately. To solve the nonlinear equations of motion of the system, MATLAB routine odel 5s solver has been adopted, and system response is calculated. The behavior of the system has been studied using orbital plots and phase portraits. The Floquet theory has been used to investigate the stability of the system. The Floquet multipliers show that the rigid and flexible rotor will place a considerable influence on the periodic solution of the system.
