摘要
The Bicycle Drawing Test (BDT) is used in neuropsychology to assess visuospatial and executive functions. Aim of this work is to examine its criterion validity in older patients with cognitive deficit. Seventy-two patients with cognitive deficits (mean age 73.5, SD=10.2) were administered BDT and other neuropsychological methods. 38 patients were diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, the rest with a different condition. We found moderate correlations of BDT scores with measures of visuospatial and executive functions and with overall cognitive performance, which indicate sufficient criterion validity of the test.
