摘要
The volatility of wind power makes it more prominent the reactive power and voltage control of wind farms clusters, which is studied from the perspective of regional control as the main tendency at present. This paper designs a multi-objective reactive power optimization and voltage control strategy for wind farms cluster, which is based on the analysis of wind power fluctuation characteristics and reactive power compensation characteristics. The optimization model includes the day-ahead optimization and the intra-day optimization. At first, pre-optimizing each discrete reactive power compensation device by taking into account wind power output characteristics in the former mode. While in the intra-day optimization, the controlling center optimizes the compensation amount of different reactive compensation devices based on the optimization results of the day-ahead optimization model. The case study of a practical wind farms cluster is modeled with the proposed strategy. The primal-dual interior point method (PDIPM) was used to solve the optimization model and the simulated results verified the effectiveness of the proposed method.
