摘要
Carbon disc electrodes were modified with poly-p-aminophenol and copolymer of p-aminophenol and p-phenylenediamine. The copolymer was also electrodeposited at titanium electrode as evidenced by an orange brown film over the titanium disc. Linear sweep, cyclic and differential pulse voltammetric studies revealed electrochemical activity of a benzodiazepine (temazepam) at polymer coating in nitric acid solution. Temazepam was extracted in dichloromethane or in 2: 3 water/alcohol. Electro-reduction of temazepam showed linear variation of current with change in concentration from 0.1 to 3.6 mM at the copolymer coating; a similar behaviour was observed at poly-p-aminophenol for temazepam concentration up to 0.3 mM.
