A variational study of periodic Anderson model with superconducting correlations

摘要
In this work, we present the study of heavy fermion superconductivity represented by the extended periodic Anderson model (PAM), which includes a superconducting correlations term. The study has been carried out at finite U as well as at U -> infinity. We have used the variational method. The variational wave function contains two variational parameters A(k sigma), and B-k sigma, corresponding to, respectively, single and simultaneously two electrons transfer from conduction band to f-band and back. We have found that both the variational parameters are mutually dependent. We have found that T-c, increases as a function of J (interaction parameter). (c) 2006 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
