摘要
A simple form for Green's function of multi-layer lossy and lossless structures has been derived in this paper. The structure of multilayer lossy substrate has been modeled using a linear filter. This filter can simulate the TE and TM plane wave propagation through multi-layer structure. Sommerfeld integral is then used to expand the fields of ideal electric and magnetic dipoles as a sum of infinite number of plane waves. The response of the filter is then computed for each plane wave. Finally total field is obtained as an integral of the responses to each, plane wave, and the Green's function is given as a simple explicit formula.
