摘要
This paper describes the design and simulation of an 8-bit computer which constitutes part of the laboratory for the undergraduate computer architecture course offered in the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of North Florida. The design was first described in register transfer language (RTL) and then translated into PLDasm targeted for Altera's FlexLogic device EPX8160. The PLDasm program was compiled, simulated, and the operations were verified.
