摘要
This article presents a design of compact microstrip dual-mode filter. The design uses dual-mode resonators developed from a uniform or stepped impedance resonator with a load tapped at the middle of the resonator. Four different types of loads can be employed to excite an additional even mode. This kind of dual-mode resonator is applicable in filter design. To validate the new approach, several bandpass filters are designed, fabricated and measured. Measurements have verified the effectiveness of the method.
