摘要
Power systems stiffer from various types of disturbances, which may cause serious damage to system components (generators. receptors, storage elements. power control systems). These disturbances can create system instability and can lead to significant imbalances between energy production and consumption. Because of its importance to the reliability and continuity of service. the problem of power system transient stability has received a great deal of attention. Over the yews, various models and analysis methods have been proposed to handle specific types of problems related to transient stability. This paper surveys the different methodologies for assessing power system transient stability. The methods are organized chronologically with an emphasis on their advantages and disadvantages.
