Urban Street Trees Root and Pavement Conflict and Coordination Design Method

Tree roots will damage the pavement's rigid formation, which can also affect the normal growth of trees. By studying the two's mutual influence, analyzing the related issues between the two, suggestions to rational design of the pavement and the selection of trees are also proposed. By expanding the effective root soil space, using the way such as permeability pavement, root barrier and other modes, trees can grow favorably in the limited space of expressway, which will not damage the pavement either.
