摘要
Tungsten carbide coatings are featured with high hardness and strong abrasion resistance. However, for practical use, the contact stress and material parameter of tungsten carbide coatings are random. In this paper, firstly, the relations among cycle life, crack length and contact stress were built through Paris formula and Hertz contact theory. Then, simulation method helped to give the respective cycle time under detectable and warning crack length, and on the basis of which, the time distribution function of the crack was ascertained by the method of support vector regression. Finally, remaining life of tungsten carbide coatings was ascertained respectively and verified through the living example.
