摘要：
Quality auditing is a systematic and independent examination to determine whether quality activities and related results comply with planned arrangements and whether these arrangements are implemented effectively and are suitable to achieve objectives. This method is being applied in transportation design/build projects to improve level of quality, provide an assessment of quality, facilitate information retrieval and reporting, and aid the contractor. An audit program includes quality system audits and/or compliance audits.
