摘要
Nonlinear optical properties in single-wall carbon nanotubes (CNTs) illuminated by an external electromagnetic field were investigated using quantum kinetic equations for the density matrix of the pi-electrons. In the regime of weak driving field, these equations were solved by the perturbation method and the spectra of the third-order polarizability were calculated. In the case of high-intensive driving field, numerical simulation of the processes in the time-domain was carried out. The pi-plasmons excitation was analyzed.
