摘要：
Optimal design and construction require analysis tools which reproduce the behavior of media and construction sequences as accurately as possible. The paper discusses some aspects of such a software tool in relation with cut and cover construction procedures, including: large displacement formulation for structures, continua and contact interfaces, and a novel fill algorithm. Validation examples and a case study illustrate the discussion.
