Excitation of the Alfven eigenmodes by localized energetic ions in optimized stellarators

摘要：
Growth rates of the core-localized toroidal Alfven eigenmodes destabilized by the localized energetic ions in the quasi-omnigeneous stellarator are calculated. Estimates show that these growth rates are comparable with collisional damping rates on the localized electrons. c 2008 American Institute of Physics.
