摘要
This paper presents a new butterfly-shaped transmitting (BS-Tx) coil of a magnetic resonance wireless power transfer (WPT) system for miniaturized biomedical implants. The range and misalignment tolerances are the main factors, which result in transfer efficiency degradation. The proposed BS-Tx coil improves the efficiency despite variations in the distance, angle, and axial misalignment with a 9-mm diameter receiver coil. A wireless power transfer efficiency exhibits a significant improvement as compared to a conventional WPT system under the same conditions.
