摘要
Information as well as the generation of new knowledge through the employees define the company's position in the competitive market. With globalisation, no company that surpasses a critical size is able to extract, to filter and to combine the information only through its individual employees and, simultaneously, make the information accessible to all employees throughout the world in the form of organizational knowledge. Herein lies the potential of transnational information and communication systems (TICS) as well as the further development of knowledge management systems that constitute a corporate turntable of information and knowledge inside a new network organization. The following article discusses a comprehensive knowledge management concept, that assigns the highest value to the employee as a knowledge source and integrates, at the same time, the components technology, qualification, organization and strategy.
