摘要
Have you imagined a self-powered jelly? Recently in Science, Han and coworkers unveiled a giant thermopower of 17 mV K-1 in a gelatin-based ionic-thermoelectric (i-TE) material by utilizing thermodiffusion effect and thermogalvanic effect synergistically. A high output voltage of 2.2 V and a peak power of 5 mu W are reported for a flexible i-TE wearable device using human body heat, enough to power many commercial sensors and wearable electronics.
