摘要
This paper addresses the key technical issues of quality control during a short pulse magnetization of rare earth permanent magnets of Internal Permanent Magnet (IPM) rotors. The focus is on the theoretical and practical measurement of the characteristic magneticparameters. The polarization, remanent flux density and the intrinsic coercive field strength were exermined for each permanent magnet magnetized inside the corresponding rotor. To demonstrate the functionality of the proposed method, the magnets inside an IPM rotor are magnetized in a newly designed magnetic fixture.
