摘要
In response to the high cost and long cycle in the die design and manufacture, this paper explores a flexible forming system of sheet metal based on the fundamental principle of Multi-Point Forming. On the system, a series of forming experiments have been done, the results of experiments show that the shape of the target workpiece is identical to the CAD design shape and it provides a flexible forming method for sheet metal with 3-D surface.
