摘要
The loss analysis of the wireless power transfer system (WPTS) based on the GaN is discussed in this paper. Some previous studies adopt the simplified loss analysis model neglecting switching losses in the semiconductor devices of the inverter. Most papers never consider the relationship between the system loss and the zero voltage switch angle (ZVSA). However, in this paper, the power losses in every parts of the whole system are analyzed and the relationship between the system loss and ZVSA is studied. The WPTS adopts the series-series (SS) compensated topology. First, the transfer characteristics of the whole system is carried out. Second, the power losses in WPTS with different ZVSA are analyzed. Finally, a 500W simulation WPTS is built to verify the theory analysis. The losses of WPTS based on the GaN and silicon semiconductor are compared while the output current is kept constant.
