摘要
This paper presents an analysis of architectures for Operator Control Units (OCUs) designed for tele-robotic control. The first portion consists of a design space requirements analysis of a general purpose OCU with an eye toward portability, durability, the system's components, and human-computer interaction issues. Finally, a discussion of dominant characteristics which determine an OCU's applicability to different tasks and robot hardware is presented.
