摘要
The science and technology is entering an unprecedented intensive creative era of 21st century, the capacity of independent innovation has been the key of national competition capability. Technology foresight through selecting key technologies and serving national long-term plans for science and technology development is seen as important reference tools, while the result of technology foresight can improve the pertinence and veracity of national S&T development plans and help decision-makers grasp the technological future and optional tactics. This paper shows technology foresight activities, the methodology of technology foresight at national level and foresight results for future 20 years in China. By technology foresight and benchmarking research & development capacity with developed countries, China gives priority to the important technology related to the economic development, society progress and national deference in order to upgrade thoroughly the capacity of independent innovation.
