摘要
Cyclic simple shear tests were conducted to investigate Bauschinger effect in the large strain region of the material for cold forging. A specimen for the test was prepared from stainless steel drawn wire. Jigs for the test were designed. The designed simple shear test was simulated using finite element analysis to verify the test by comparing the analysis result and the work hardening law given in the simulation. Then, cyclic simple shear tests were performed in two different strain range. As a result, it was possible to observe the Bauschinger effect with cumulative equivalent strain of 1.0. Finally, the comparison of equivalent stress-strain curves by uniaxial tensile and simple shear tests as well as the discussion on the discrepancy were conducted. There was significant deviation on stress-strain relations in two tests, which was able to be explained reasonably by postulating that the material obeys the combined kinematic hardening rule.
