摘要
With its many advantages such as open source codes, being totally free and friendly to developing models participation, open source software has grown rapidly into an important trend in the software industry and one of the focal points in China's development strategy of IT, especially software industry. In the process of CAPF informatization, some open source software projects should be introduced according to the practical situation, so that the related researches could be operated economically, the software developing cycles could be shortened and the quality of independent research projects could be improved. It is, without doubt, an efficient way to enhance the quality and quantity of CAPF informatization project. In addition, by introducing the open source software projects into college IT education, the teaching and research activities will be more efficient, and consequently, the learners will possess more solid major foundations and better software developing abilities.
