摘要：
Application of abstract statistical concepts and processes to real-world situations can be facilitated by metacognitive perspectives and heuristic devices. By analyzing data and understanding applications of statistical analysis, WOC nurses will develop and nurture the metacognitive skills necessary for critical thinking in research and become avid, enthusiastic consumers of published research, thus promoting improved patient care. © 2008 by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society.
