Structural and optical properties of dysprosium doped barium zirconium titanate ceramic

摘要
The structural, and optical properties of pure and Dy doped BaZr0.25Ti0.75O3 ceramics obtained via solid-state reaction were investigated. The X-Ray study of all compositions shows a single phase cubic structure. The Rietveld refinement study shows that the lattice parameter and cell volume decreases with Dy content. The optical band gap obtained from UV-visible study decreases with Dy doping. The photoluminescence study shows a contribution of the shallow holes than the deep holes within the band gap.
