The P-326 proposal for an experiment to measure the very rare kaon decay K+ -> pi(+) v (v) over bar branching ratio at the CERN SPS is described. The proposed experiment will collect about 80 K+ -> pi(+) v (v) over bar events with a 10% background in two years, leading to a 10% measurement of the CKM parameter vertical bar V-td vertical bar.
