摘要
A powder processing technique is developed for the fabrication of a functionally gradient material obtained by different mixtures of nanocrystalline iron and as-received microcrystalline iron. The corrosive behavior of hot compacted nanocomposite iron in 0.5 M sulfuric acid media has been investigated by potentiodynamic test method. The obtained results revealed that an increase of nanocrystalline iron fraction improves the corrosion resistance in the iron nanocomposites. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
