摘要
This article addresses mathematical modeling of oil gravity drainage with existence block-to-block and dispersion processes, which is believed to occur in naturally fractured reservoirs. Equations are written for oil drainage rates that can handle block-to-block interaction and a boundary condition of the interface between each two blocks. The boundary is written based on convective-dispersion fluxes in the interface between each two blocks with different properties. The results from the developed model show that the oil drainage rate is low during oil production from the stack, and the diffusion process has an important role on the gas dispersion and oil recovery. The gas concentration increases gradually into the stack during production time because of the existence of the block-to-block process. © 2014 Copyright Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
