摘要：
This paper deals with fault-tolerant-based load frequency control in multi-area power systems. First, by using sliding mode observer technique, the system states and faults are figured out combined with the designed derivative and proportional gains. Upon the state estimates, sliding mode controller is synthesized to keep the asymptotical stability performance of the fault system.
