摘要
This paper presents the technological challenges and the potential application scenarios of high-capacity radio communication links operating in the sub-THz frequency band. A field trial of a dual carrier and dual polarisation transceiver demonstrator operating at D-band from 130 GHz up to 170 GHz is presented. Results show that the module supports TX constellations up to 128-QAM with 2 GHz channel spacing. An unconventional architecture, enabling a flexible frequency division duplex (f-FDD) and in band full duplex (FD) approaches, based on two separated antennas to transmit and receive, is here proposed and validated.
