Research into the Current Situation and Influencing Factors of College Students' Lifelong Sports Participation

This paper did research on the current situation of college students' lifelong sports participation and analyzed its influencing factors, using document data method, interview method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method, etc. It aims at providing experience and theoretical basis to promote the sports reform in Colleges and universities for college sports decision-making departments. The survey shows that lifelong physical education awareness and attitude of college students in Linyi city is positive and healthy. Meanwhile, the motivation of lifelong physical education is complex and diverse and male and female students have slight differences. Participating in the project are basketball, badminton, table tennis, aerobics, football, tennis and so on. Time is mainly in the evening and at night, which leads to obvious insufficiency in participation. In addition, college students have too much learning pressure, lacking interest in sports and guidance. It's not knowing how to exercise that is the main factor affecting college students lifelong sports participation.
