摘要
Forest fire spread is a complex process that depends on many parameters covering various ranges of length and time scales. Experimental data is required to improve the understanding of several mechanisms and phenomena that occur in forest fires and also to validate existing models to predict fire behaviour. The present paper provides a review of experimental research on forest fires developed at laboratory and field scales.
