Chinese Animal Management System: Status, Problems and Countermeasures

With respect to animal administration, China has made great efforts to catch up with the latest development in the world. Now we have seen great progresses in this field, yet there are still defects, remotely falling behind the developed countries. This paper gives an introduction to animal administration status in China from three aspects: administrative management, legislative and judicial management and public participation, meanwhile points out the existing problems in these respects. On this basis, the paper presents the future development of animal administration in China and offers suggestions to realize effective management of animals.
