Low-frequency reverberation in shallow-water Arctic seas

摘要：
An energy model of a reverberation signal in a shallow-water arctic waveguide is considered at frequencies of several hundred hertz. Calculations are performed with the mode method. It is shown that the decay law of the reverberation signal allows one to make predictions about the presence of heavy ice areas in the path of a ship.
