Article is analyses the sources and the maintenance of Karl Jaspers's phenomenology. With special attention on early psychopathological works, the author represents sources of Jaspers's phenomenological method in the unity of its own vital history and development of a science of the first half of XX century. Thus author considers the phenomenology in comparison with histology, roentgenoscopy and other medical sciences, methods and underlines that its basic plan is objective, exact and scientific research of a mental life.
