摘要
The hippocampus contributes to the regulation of information flow through internal switching, shifting between sensory and mnemonic processing depending on task demands. Although many studies have examined hippocampal activity during behavioral tasks, little is known about how behavioral performance relates to the dynamics of internal switching. The present study challenges the problem by examining practice effects, both in behavior and in neural correlates associated with internal switching during memory-guided spatial alternation.
